TREGUFF FARM COTTAGES

A group of traditional stone and slate farm buildings built in about 1860 around a central courtyard, have been converted into a series of holiday cottages. The interiors of the cottages have sympathetically retained many of the original architectural features. Adjacent is a listed Elizabethan farmhouse on a four hundred acre working farm.

The cottages, which were converted in 1993, have their own bathrooms and living rooms plus a modern oak fitted kitchen with electric cooker and fridge.

In some rooms the high ceilings and original pine trusses have been retained. All cottages have full central heating, T.V. and are carpeted and furnished throughout.

A washing machine and payphone are available in the entrance barn. There is a barbeque and outdoor seating area in the courtyard garden. Ample car parking for you and your visitors is available in the farm yard.

Within three miles of Treguff is the charming market town of Cowbridge and a number of interesting villages. There are several excellent pubs which do good inexpensive food within five minutes of the farm - it's hardly worth cooking after a lazy day.

If you wish to spend an hour or two on the farm there is a pleasant walk along the Nant Treguff Brook, which runs next to the cottages down to the River Thaw. Specimen carp fishing is available on the three acre farm lake.
